²⁴ For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and they will become one flesh.

²² He who finds a wife finds what is good and receives favor from the LORD.

⁹ Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? But it was not this way from the beginning. ⁹ I tell you that anyone who divorces his wife, except for marital unfaithfulness, and marries another woman commits adultery."

⁹ But if they cannot control themselves, they should marry, for it is better to marry than to burn with passion.
