³³ For God is not a God of disorder but of peace.

²⁷ Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.

²⁸ Like a city whose walls are broken down is a man who lacks self-control.

⁶ Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. ⁷ And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

¹⁷ The fruit of righteousness will be peace; the effect of righteousness will be quietness and confidence forever. ¹⁸ My people will live in peaceful dwelling places, in secure homes, in undisturbed places of rest.

⁴⁰ But everything should be done in a fitting and orderly way.

Forgive as the Lord forgave you. ¹⁴ And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity. ¹⁵ Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. ²⁵ In those days Israel had no king; everyone did as he saw fit.

¹³ My own hand laid the foundations of the earth, and my right hand spread out the heavens; when I summon them, they all stand up together.

¹¹ The LORD gives strength to his people; the LORD blesses his people with peace.

⁷ Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows.

²⁰ I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.
