²⁰ "'All flying insects that walk on all fours are to be detestable to you.

³⁰ And to all the beasts of the earth and all the birds of the air and all the creatures that move on the ground-everything that has the breath of life in it-I give every green plant for food." And it was so.

They are unclean for you. ²⁹ "'Of the animals that move about on the ground, these are unclean for you: the weasel, the rat, any kind of great lizard, ³⁰ the gecko, the monitor lizard, the wall lizard, the skink and the chameleon.

²⁰ Moreover, the LORD your God will send the hornet among them until even the survivors who hide from you have perished.
